"The book could easily be included in daily readings for long-time Christians, as well as those new to or just starting to explore the faith. Each chapter is short and succinct, and includes biblical, historical and personal accounts of Faith, faith-based themes. And it's all about Jesus!
If a reader wanted to learn what the book was about and what it has for them before committing to 100 plus chapters, I would suggest reading chapter 26 through chapter 31. I think they would want to go back to the beginning and read the whole book. They'd be hooked. I am personally including it in my daily devotionals. Because it is not only educational but also thought-provoking."
Yours in Christ, Elder Lorna Marrow, Topinabee Community Church, Topinabee Michigan

Reverend Todd Crouch’s new book, “That They Might Know You”, is by definition a game changer for all Christians. He explains in surprisingly simple terms what God has universally done for all of us by the Gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. Reverend Todd lays out how Jesus came for our benefit, to not only teach us correction, but at the same time give us good news encouragement. Crouch explains that Jesus, through his Love, Mercy, and Grace has forgiven our sins and calls for us to then repent of those ways. The examples in this book not only give guidance on how to resist the many sins of the world, but more importantly on how to reach deeper inside and change our whole hearts. Doing so in such a way, that our faith walks are not just strong enough for a day, but a way of life during our time here before joining our Father in eternity. Reverend Crouch clarifies this offering from God and our responsibilities so that they may indeed know Him, as Todd writes in his book, “May we recognize the honor of Jesus’ invitation. May we respond wholeheartedly—today, tomorrow, and forevermore. Amen.”

In the process of creating a sermon, pastors struggle with how to condense a mountain of information into a 30-minute presentation. Rev. Crouch elevated that process to a higher level. He has condensed 30 years of sermons into one presentable book of 523 pages, consisting of 98 devotional sermon notes. But don’t let the size concern you. The 523 pages of “That They Might Know You” are a very easy read.
Many books in my library are advertised as “A new look…a modern look.” That is not Crouch’s approach. This book’s bedrock is Trinitarian theology. And as it relates to grace, mercy, freedom, inclusion and the person of Christ, the message is as clear, old and unchanging as that which Peter, Paul, James, John etc. presented in the original manuscripts.
Whether on ordination in “Lay No Hand Suddenly” [pg.91]; or in Ecclesiastes, “A Time to Mourn” [pg. 205]; Crouch points us back to Jesus. He salts the book with hermeneutics, such as insights into ancient legal systems, as in the “White Stone”
Applying Rev. Crouch’s own words [pg. 11] as a succinct summary of this book, “If it’s not about Jesus, then it’s not about anything.” For those who have an eye, let them see…this book is definitely about Jesus.
Rev. George Relic, pastor, Grace Communion Washington, Pa.
