Scripture
Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV)
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Reflection
The fruit of the Spirit isn’t earned—it’s cultivated. These are not goals to chase, but gifts to grow as we walk in step with the Spirit.
Pastors would
say that these virtues bloom in surrendered soil.
Love blossoms when we forgive. Joy shines through gratitude. Peace is rooted in
trust.
Patience, kindness, and goodness are evidence of grace taking hold deep within us. Faithfulness keeps us steady, gentleness brings healing, and self-control honors the journey.
As we abide in Christ, the Spirit shapes our hearts to reflect the character of Heaven itself.
Prayer
Holy Spirit,
Grow Your fruit in me. Let Your love shapes my actions, Your joy uplift my
spirit, and Your peace guard my heart.
Teach me to be patient and kind, good and faithful, gentle and self-controlled.
Make my life a garden of Your grace—overflowing, fragrant, and alive with Your
presence.
In every season, help me bear fruit that glorifies You, today, tomorrow and
forevermore. Amen.
