The First and the Last

Scripture:

Revelation 22:13 (KJV)

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

Reflection:

This is no small statement—it’s divine authorship.
Jesus doesn’t just exist in history—He writes it.
From
Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet, to Omega, the last—He spans the fullness of creation, redemption, and eternity.

He was present before beginnings began.
He will remain after all things are fulfilled.
In Him, our stories find origin, purpose, and completion.

When we feel lost between chapters—He is already there.
He starts what He finishes, and nothing is too fractured for His frame.
Your life isn’t random—it’s written by the Author who knows the last line.

He is the reason we hope, the One who holds every moment in His hand.

Prayer:

Jesus,
You are my beginning and my end.
Anchor me in Your eternal presence when time feels uncertain.
Let me trust Your authorship of my life—every page, every season.
You’re not just part of my story—you
are my story, today, tomorrow and forevermore. Amen.
