— The God Who Gives Himself Fully
The Council of Toledo produced a creed
that emphasized the unity of the Trinity and the full divinity of the Spirit,
including the Western addition of the Filioque (“and the Son”).
This creed reminds us that God gives
Himself fully — Father, Son, and Spirit — working together in perfect unity for
our salvation.
The Creed of Toledo invites us to
marvel at the depth of God’s self‑giving love.
Prayer
Triune God, draw us into the unity of
Your love. Let our hearts rest in the fullness of Your grace, today, tomorrow and forevermore . Amen.
