What we call “the Nicene Creed” today
is the expanded form from Constantinople (381). It is the most widely confessed
creed in Christian history.
This creed reminds us that our faith
is not private or isolated — it is shared across centuries, continents, and
cultures. We stand with the saints of every age. We confess the same Lord. We
proclaim the same hope.
The Nicene Creed invites us to rejoice
that we belong to the one, holy, Christian , and apostolic Church.
Prayer
Lord, unite our hearts with Your
people across time and space. Keep us faithful to the confession of Your
Church., today, tomorrow and forevermore. Amen.
