The Epistle of Barnabas AD 70–130

Seeing Christ in All of Scripture

Though not written by St. Paul’s companion, the Epistle of Barnabas reflects early Christian teaching that sees Christ woven through the whole of Scripture. Every symbol, every sacrifice, every promise finds its fulfillment in Him.

This ancient writer teaches us to read the Bible with Christ at the center. When we look for Jesus, the Scriptures come alive. The shadows give way to substance. The promises find their “Yes” in Him.

Christ is not hidden in the Word—He is woven through it.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see You in all of Scripture. Let Your Word lead us deeper into Your grace and truth, today, tomorrow and forevermore . Amen.
